Job Opening – Sales Account Manager

Megara Resins, a leading manufacturer and supplier of chemical raw materials, is seeking to hire a Sales Account Manager to join our team in Megara, Greece. The Sales Account Manager will be responsible for the development and growth of export sales in EMEA region. The ideal candidate must be highly organized, self-driven and team player with a proven track record of achieving solid sales growth and with the ability to work in a challenging business environment. The role will be reporting directly to the Sales Director and will be a primary asset to the growth of the business unit by identifying customer needs, exceeding client expectations and working closely with various departments in order to maintain and further develop the relationships with the accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales targets by promoting the organization and portfolio of products
  • Track sales goals versus actual results and reporting as necessary to the Business Unit
  • Analyze market potential and opportunities, evaluates and solidifies existing and prospect customer value to the organization
  • Establish solid and long-term relationships with existing and new customers
  • Manage and implement pricing tactics maximizing customers value
  • Create profitable business using existing and potential customer networks
  • Comply with organization’s credit policy and support collections
  • Ability to resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner
  • Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth
  • Complete administrative tasks in a quality and efficient manner
  • Maintain and develop existing client base
  • Provide product/solutions recommendations and submit customer proposals

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering. Master’s degree will be considered an asset
  • At least 3 years of experience in export sales in the industrial B2B sector
  • Proven track record of positive sales performance, planning and implementing sales tactics and plans
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Proven record in meeting sales goals by monitoring progress. Ability to analyze sales data
  • Experience in customer relationship management, understanding customer needs and providing above and beyond customer service support and solutions
  • Solid negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Presentation business skills
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office applications. knowledge in ERP systems (ideally Soft-One) will be an asset
  • Ability to travel frequently abroad
